Within two days American Rusists and their Russian colleagues exchanged experience and new knowledge, discussed international programs and cooperation plans. For the teachers-practitioners, several sections were organized on the methodology of teaching Russian to students of the United States, modern technologies in teaching languages, studying Russian literature, folklore, culture and art. The conference was attended by 35 American specialists and their colleagues from Russia, Bulgaria and Lithuania.
The Russian State University for the Humanities was represented by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Doctor, Prof. Zabotkina Vera Ivanovna, who made a presentation "Joint international educational programs of two diplomas in Russian language, literature and culture: the experience of the RSUH" at the plenary session of the conference.
At the moment, 12 master's programs of double degree diplomas are successfully implemented at the RSUH: "Culturology", "History", "Philology" and "Philosophy", as well as 2 international PhD programs.
Participation of the RSUH in the 20th Anniversary Scientific and Practical Conference of the Central Association of Russian Language Teachers of America (CARTA)
On May 30-31, 2018, the 20th Anniversary Scientific and Practical Conference of the Central Association of Teachers of the Russian Language of America (CARTA) "Full of Mind of the Russian Language" was held at the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.
