The event was attended by members Centre for Cognitive Programs and Technologies. At the plenary session (October 31), V.I. Zabotkina presented "Dynamics of conceptual projection in media discourse: manipulative aspect" (with E.L. Boyarskaya), and E.M. Pozdnyakova presented “Cognitive modeling of manipulative influence in the media (frame approach)”. Both works were supported by the Russian Scientific Foundation (project “Cognitive models of identification and counteraction to manipulation in the media space”, No. 22-18-00594). A.A. Kotov took part in the seminar-colloquium “Corpus synchronization” (November 1).
Round table in memory of E.S. Kubryakova "Cognitive descriptions of language"
On October 31–November 1, 2024, a round table in memory of E.S. Kubryakova "Cognitive descriptions of language: concepts, methods, procedures" was held at Moscow State Linguistic University (with the support of the Institute of Linguistics of the RAS, the Russian Association of Cognitive Linguists, and the Tambov State University named after G.R.
